I was unable to attend my aunts funeral in Ireland because of the availability of flights and the weather. Instead, I sent a wreath prepared by Direct2florist. My mother told me that it was noticed so many times and described by several people as 'wonderful' and 'beautiful', which is noteworthy considering that there were many, many others there. I really wanted to pay my respects and whilst i couldn't I was very pleased that Direct2florist spoke for me in this fashion. My aunt was special and it was fitting that the flowers I sent were too. I would not hesitate to use this company again but at the same time. I hope I don't have to.

I had been meaning to call up and thank the florists myself, but circumstances meant I forgot! I’m glad to get the chance to do it here. I picked a florists choice bunch and said my mother likes cheerful flowers, and that’s what she got! My father loves them as well. These were for a special time-sensitive occasion and I asked for a special favour and got it, and I was so so pleased, it really added a special touch. They normally don’t do deliveries Sunday as far as I could tell, so I took a time slot for the Monday. They delivered on Mother’s Day! Saved the day for me!! Really poor bunch of flowers for what was advertised and charged. A 50 euro bunch of flowers with: 3 stems x carnations; 2 stems x large rose; 1 stem small rose; 2 stems of a purple flower and then the usual greenery. If this was from my local flower shop in Dunboyne then I'd be glad to share this feedback. Very disappointing.

The bouquet has received multiple favourable comments and praise as "The Best Yet" (I buy many bouquets online for delivery). If there is any downside - I thought the price a little steep but the service was incredible and I didn't let the price interfere with the rating as a result. Definitely a 5* service. The flowers are always beautifully arranged and the service is good. However on this occasion, even though I ordered online before 9am, the delivery didn’t arrive as promised on the same day. They came the following day when the recipients were not at home and were left outside their door. Despite this, thankfully they loved the flowers.

I decided on Ongar flowers as Delores & Brian did the church flowers for my wedding (the usual parish flowers in the colours we wanted - green & cream) she was great to work with and did beautiful work. Now I'm in America I didn't know what to do to order flowers for family and make sure I got a good result from someone reliable and local. I remembered Ongar so looked them up online. I've been told that the flowers are really beautiful (I don't live nearby so I haven't seen them). The only reason I've taken one star away is that the delivery arrived a day early (Easter), which as they were sent to my mother on the anniversary of my father's death, was somewhat sensitive. Perhaps there was a reason for this, but advance warning of early delivery would have been appreciated.

My Mum said the flowers were beautiful & the bouquet huge. I was very pleased as with internet you don't always know if you're going to get value for your money. I had asked for the delivery before 10am on the morning of her birthday. As that was not going to be possible, the florist took the initiative to phone my mother and ask if they could deliver the evening before.
